As Christians we are called to forgive, even as we’ve been forgiven.

When you think about this choice and how dramatic it is, now is the time to stay the course.
He was at the helm of that little sailing boat and the tempest was blowing right in his face and he wanted for all the world to turn the rudder and start to head back to shore, and the skipper below shouted up to him stay the course, it made all the difference and he made it home because he didn’t turn aside from the challenge.
Men and women of faith I will tell you this is a time for action not essays and we must roll our sleeves up and be prepared to fight everyday for what we believe in. Shortcomings are no excuse for inaction.

In this time of condescension and, at times, overt hostility to people of faith, we fall into the temptation to recoil and retreat. But the stakes are too high.
If we were perfect, we wouldn’t need Jesus. But we are far from perfect. We do need Him. But God’s love eclipses our failings, and, as always, renewed the strength of so many in this nation.
